Question: Share photo library multiple users + synchronize with iCloud Photo Library

I want to share one photo library between two users as well as to synchronize the library to respective user’s iCloud Photo Library.

I have followed this guide: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201517. It works advertised.

However, every time I switch user the entire contents of the library re-updates with iCloud Photo Library, rather than just update the latest changes. (Taking forever.)

Is there any way to avoid the full re-update?

Answer:

No

Every time you disconnect the library and connect to a different user it must be uploaded to verify integrity -- each use can have their own library synced with ICPL - you can not "share" a ingle library between multiple users without updtes every time you change user
