Is there a way to keep old iPhoto projects (calendars, cards, etc.)?

I'm currently using Photos. About 6-7 years ago, I made some projects (holiday cards) using iPhoto, but when I upgraded my library from iPhoto to Photos, something seems to have been lost in those projects. Is there a way for me to preserve/archive those projects?

macOS Sierra (10.12.5)

Not as projects - when you migrated any projects that will migrate were migrated - How Photos handles content and metadata from iPhoto and Aperture - Apple Support

If you have iPhoto 9.6.1 you can export them as PDFs for archive

And not there is no magic you either have them or you do not - no magic - no hidden backups - no secret versions - nothing except what you have

Thanks. Looking at the projects that seem to have made it over from iPhoto to Photos, it looks like the themes from 2012 are still available in Photos, and hence, the projects are still moved it over. It looks like the themes that chose before 2012 no longer exist. Is there any way for me to recover or export them for archive? I actually do have iPhoto 9.6.1, but it looks like the themes from before 2012 are also no longer available from when I first did the projects before 2012. In other words, it looks like the themes were retired even before iPhoto 9.6.1.

Any thoughts on this? Is the project available in some Apple server somewhere connected to my account?
