MacOS Messages still substitutes the letter “i” and autocorrects it to an “A” with a symbol after the iOS 11.1.1 upgrade. When will this be updated/fixed on the Mac side?

UPDATE: Even though my client updated to 11.1.1, I had him reboot his iPhone once more and resend me a test message. Problem solved and the substitution no longer shows on MacOS Messages.
