Full screen white bar

With a new 12 inch MacBook Photos.app has a wide white bar at the top when viewing images in Full Screen. What happened to the all black background? Always though full screen was supposed to be non distracting. Hopefully an update will correct this soon. (Yes, all is up to date.)

Try this Photos menu item selection:

User uploaded file

Then "Uncheck" Always Show Toolbar and Sidebar in Full Screen."
