Dear friends, me and my wife share the same apple id for itunes and icloud .
If my wife changes her icloud apple id only ( so that we can seperate our icloud backups) will she lose her purchased apps backup?
She runs ios 11 and have iphone 7

She won't lose them but she will have to put in your Apple ID passcode every time she needs to update them.
She can be signed into one Apple ID for iTunes & App Store and a different one for iCloud, though.
