Ringtone volume

Hi All,

I noticed in iPhone X when I keep the phone vertically the ringtone volume starts at right volume and then automatically reduces. However, when I keep it flat / horizontal on table, it rings properly.

Anyone has any idea to this one?

iPhone X, iOS 11.1

Congratulations on your new iPhone X! If I'm reading your post correctly, you've noticed that when your iPhone X is held in portrait, the ringtone volume will decrease, but if it's in landscape, it doesn't decrease. I'm happy to help!

From what you've described, it sounds like the Attention Aware features are turned on. These features allow your iPhone X to react differently in certain situations, based on whether or not it senses you looking at the phone or not.
