Ineligible for iCloud Music Library

My friend creates really good music mixes, some of which are up to three and a half hours long. I assume there is a limit to the song time that can be uploaded onto iCloud music library because I am getting the 'ineligible for iCloud music library' notification?

Is there anyway around this apart from splitting the song into 2 AAC versions?

I don't really want to have to split them into 2 AAC versions because it play only half the mix when I have the playlist on shuffle.

Can i put in a request to increase the limit of iCloud Music Library, you know, because I am paying for it.

I am an Apple Music member and pay for iCloud storage. Spotify would not have this issue (just saying)

Then why not just use Spotify? (just asking)

The limit is either 2 hours in length or 200 MB. You may also be violating the 4th bullet's "don't meet certain quality criteria" requirement. Have you tried a compliant version to see if that will upload?
