Why can’t I comnect my debit card to my apple ID?

My card is going to expire in July 2019 and I had it xonnected to my apple ID. Now I couldnmt purchase anything from the apple store and I disconnected the card and tried to connect it again but my phone just kicks me out of settings. What should I do and what is the problem?
