iCloud Drive/Finder Couldn't communicate with a helper application

So, today is fun day with my finder!

I updated my macOS to 10.13.1, and after the restart I get an error message and a pretty much unusable Finder. Whenever I restarted or re-enabled my iCloud Drive, my whole finder crashes when I try to select/drag or open a file, then in the Finder the iCloud icon has a lighting bolt and I get this error message:

iCloud Drive may not work properly. Please check the iCloud preference pane.

Couldn't communicate with a helper application

• So, I went on my preference pane, all logged in, all good and no errors;

• Then I tho, okey, probably a sync issue, however, I can't seem to find a way how to push a sync with the iCloud;

• Then I tried to disable it, and then re-enable it and I get the same error;

Running out of ideas, what could be wrong :/

Well, after having a 2h with two Apple Support people, who helped me a little bit to troubleshoot what could be wrong and pointing me to the wrong direction about having too many files on my Hard drive that don't even sync with my computer, and then explaining them that is not how cloud drives work, I figured out just to delete the Cache folder from my Library and re-sign into my account and boom! All works fine 🙂
