Downloading Icon stays back on Safari 11

In Safari Version 11.0.1 (13604.3.5) - whenever I download an item, the download icon stays back on the browser.


Check the below screenshot where on the Download Now button - the Safari Download icon can be seen.

This icon stays no matter which app you are using. Only when I restart Safari, does the icon go away.


Is there any solution for the same ?
