iOS 11.1.1 freezes for no apparent reason?

Am using an iphone 7 and since upgrading to 11.1.1 my phone keep freezing for no apparent reason. It won't respond to touch. I can't even switch it off! I have to do a hard reset in order to use my phone again. Please help to update the firmware and fix it
