Cant download apps from appstore

Hi, Im having trouble downloading apps from appstore. It started initially when i deleted whatsapp, when i tried redownloading it, it just keeps loading but wont actually download. I thought it might be a problem with whatsapp, but then the same problem persists with every other app im trying to download. Please help
