iTunes 12.7.1.14 - USB Personal Hotspot no longer working.

To whom it may concern,

My issue is exactly as described in this post:

Did what that post suggested but still, that didn't work for me. My iPad Pro and iPhone 7 Plus (both iOS 11.1.1) don't work with personal hotspot.

Furthermore, I connect them and turn personal hotspot on and they switch from wifi to 4g but my computer won't recognise them as dedicated ethernet adapters. Also, the blue bar that indicates personal hotspot is on doesn't appear.

It was working fine before I updated iTunes.

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes and iCloud for Windows but that didn't help.

Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (1709)

iTunes 12.7.1.14

Using Original lightning cable.
