Cab I get a Cinema HD Display to work with a PowerMac G4?

Hi there,

I was wondering how I could my Cinema HD Display (aluminum case) working with my old PowerMac G4 (Quicksilver) ?

Would appreciate your advice.

If this is one of Apple’s older HD display that uses a DVI connection, you would need to find a compatible video graphics card that has a DVI input to drive this display.


Take a look at this website for compatible graphics cards you will need to find and install to use that monitor.

If this a a later model display that use a mini display port you may also need to find and purchase a mini display to dvi adapter to use with that G4 Mac.
