I am having trouble with my iPod with activation lock it does not accepted my apple id or my password. Please help older generation needs help .

The Activation Lock screen should show, partially, the ID required to unlock it (right):
Only this ID, and its password, can unlock it. Did you buy the phone new or second-hand? If it was new and the ID is yours but you've forgotten it, go to http://iforgot.apple.com
If you bought the phone second hand and the ID is that of the previous owner, only he can unlock it: there is no other way round that. If you are unable to contact him, you will never be able to use the phone.

Thank you for your email. I have solved the problem it was that my finger are not small so the password was not punched in correct and the iPod keys are so small but it did ttype me
about 12 times to get it right. Modern tech is very
hard for some,of us. I am alright on the iPad but do not text on our very old mobile which we just use for emergencies.
