Has anyone had problems with airpods losing connection with their phone?

I recently updated my iPhone 7+ with the latest iOS version (11.1.1) and now my air pods will not connect to my phone. All the other Bluetooth connections from my phone are working. Has anyone had any problems with their air pods?
