Hi community,
I have an Apple Watch Series 3 and I own multiple SIM cards for different countries. From time to time I need to change the SIM card on my iPhone. My question now is: Is it possible to change the SIM on my iPhone and keep the Apple Watch activated with the other provider? Not all providers support the Apple Watch eSIM and I don't want to pay for it on multiple providers.

According to Apple Support this happens:
When you change the SIM card of your iPhone to a different provider the Apple Watch will no longer work with the previously setup carrier. Your Apple Watch and your iPhone need to have the same cellular provider at all times.
Yes I understand this, but it does not really answer my question.
The scenario is: I have a T-Mobile (Germany) SIM in my phone and its setup with the eSIM of my Apple Watch. Now I would like to change the SIM on my iPhone (just for a few days) and keep the eSIM installed on my Apple Watch.
Do you think thats possible ? It does not really depend on the carrier here
