iPhone not informs about SMS or iMessage if display and sound is off

Hello! I recently came across a problem: my almost new iPhone 7 doesn't inform about arrived SMS in ANY way if asleep and sound turned off. Is this correct? Ever before it provided some vibration. Display light doesn't turn on
