iPhone 7 wrecked after iOS 11 update
I have had an iPhone for several years now, and my wife has had iPhone since they first came out. We have never had any serious malfunctions before. But suspiciously, after the iOS 11 update, my phone gets stuck in a reboot loop, and I have to force restart it several times to get it to come on. Once it is on, everything works perfectly, except anything that has to do with the microphone it would seem. I cannot make or receive phone calls, I cannot record videos, and I cannot record voice memos.
This seems like a hardware issue, right? So I took it into a repair shop, and they tested it. But they said the hardware isn't bad. I know, take it into a genius bar. But are they going to find an issue? Because there's no way iOS 11 could cause these problem right? (sarcasm) Suspiciously, my co-workers iPhone 7 is boot looping as well. However, we can't even force her phone to turn on. She was told by an apple tech it is a hardware issue...which happened after she updated to iOS 11...
Has anyone else experienced these issues? Or are me and my co-worker the only two iPhone 7 users who have experienced this boot looping error, seemingly caused by hardware malfunctions just one year after we purchased our phones right after iOS 11 came out. I didn't buy an iPhone so it could malfunction this easily this quickly. I buy iPhones for their quality. But now I'm beginning to worry.
