-if you've already followed these steps then you'll have to contact iTunes for a refund. The system doesn't pro-rate automatically nor will it automatically refund the money. It operates on a billing cycle so if your billing cycle ends on the 20th and you cancelled it on the 1st you'll still have access until the next billing cycle. Contact iTunes.
