Selecting Mail signature using Applescript

I am trying to use a script to send out a monthly email. I can do everything but select the signature for the email. Does anyone know how to do this? Below is what I'm tying to use, but it is not working. Any help would be appreciated.

Tell the application "Mail"

set message signature fo theMessage to signature theSignature
