Question: which mode to choose in boot firmware for vmware fusion

Hi

when im installing vmware fusion 10 in my macbook pro the choosing options comes like " specify the boot firmware : Legacy BIOS or UEFI "

im new to mac.so i dont know about this. which mode to choose and what they are meant for ?...

please advice about this.

MacBook Pro TouchBar and Touch ID, macOS Sierra (10.12.6), memory : 8GB , Processor : 3.1GHzi5

I suggest that you contact VMware support and ask them to explain the difference and which you should use when installing their product on your MacBook Pro. FWIW, I use Parallels instead of VMware and I don't have to make this type of decision when installing their VM software.
