Not able to sync calendar (outlook2016) with icloud after download/install icloud for windows (10)

I have windows 10 and Outlook 2016. I downloaded and installed icloud for windows. checked boxes and applied individually for photo/calendar. Calendar saves to cloud but does not appear on phone (i8). Get error on phone- "Unable to update due to missing information"

iPhone 8, iOS 11.0.3

Thanks for that info and choosing the Apple Support Communities. If I understand correctly, you are unable to have events from Outlook on your computer show on your iPhone. Since you're using iCloud for Windows to sync this data, please follow the relevant steps in this resource on your situation:
