Title says it all.


Late 2009, 4 megs ram, High Sierra (10.13.1).

EtreCheck reads “good” and everything works well even with only 4 megs of ram so it seems there’s nothing to report.

Might still be worth it to add another 4GB or 8GB of RAM if your seeing the SBBOD or Insufficient RAM in the EtreCheck report. see > Memory & Storage Upgrades for Apple iMac 2009


I got into this situation out of curiosity. Perhaps I should remember that cat and how it ended up.

Curiosity is not necessarily a bad thing. Sometimes it's better to know, than it is to find out the hard way. 😮
