Rotation locked in portrait mode on iPad Pro 12.9" 2017 after iOS 11.0 update - NOTHING works to fix it.

The screen rotation feature on my 2017 iPad Pro 12.9" is no longer functional. I have soft and hard re-booted, wiped and reinstalled, changed everything I can find in the OS - nothing has worked. I really need to be able to view it in landscape mode, but it will not move from portrait mode under any condition. This happened as soon as I updated to iOS 11.0. So I thought I would wait for the next few updates, which I did, and nothing has changed. I am now at 11.1.1.

I use this tablet in a professional clinical setting, so getting this fixed is pretty important. To pay so much for this tablet only to have it do this due to an upgrade is very disappointing. Makes me wonder who tests the updates before they are rolled out. Please push out a fix for this, as I can see that many other people have this same issue. Waiting for your customer threshold to reach the level required for an update should not be an option here - as this is a major part of the functionality of the system/tablet. I will try any ideas - if there are any - thanks!
