So I updated to MacOS High Sierra today not really thinking. Stupid Me.
And my version of Final Cut Pro is completely unusable.
I tried signing into the apple ID used to purchase the computer & no further update was given.
So, am I out of luck? Do I need to shovel out 300$ to continue using the program?

THe ID used to purchase the computer also purchased the app, but when the computer was purchased we decided to have the app already on the computer when IT came in, is that bad?
It is also not under the purchased page and the only thing that came up in the APP store was Pro X
Is that the Apple ID used to purchase the application? Is it in the Purchased page of the App Store?
It usually complicates things unfortunately. You need to contact support for the App Store
