Since last Saturday afternoon, the High Sierra upgrade process stopped at black screen with an endless spinner.
It lasts over 55 hours. And the spinner will jump every 3~5 seconds.
I'm not sure I should restart to see what will happened.
My friend told me that's the problem about FileVault.
Any one got the same problem?

Turning off FileVault shouldn't damage your data although there is always that risk. Do you maintain external backups? Understand that disabling FileVault takes quite some time and will require some amount of free space on the encrypted drive.

After 80 hours waiting, I restarted my NMB.
I got simply failed installation.
All data has been backed up.
And disabling the FileVault is on the way.
I will re-install High Sierra this weekend.
Yes, I have enabled FileVault.
I know how to turn it off.
But I'm afraid I will lost all data inside.
I have external backup but it has 2 days gap.
Just wanna confirm this spinner is "on the way". I can wait for a few days more.
I hope this is not wasting time.
An upgrade takes 45 minutes or so if that answers your question.
