gdisk Doesn't Work On High Sierra

I've been trying to use gdisk to check my partition scheme but every time I run it, it gives me this error

sudo gdisk /dev/disk0

GPT fdisk (gdisk) version 1.0.3

Problem opening /dev/disk0 for reading! Error is 1.

Mac mini, macOS High Sierra (10.13)
