Anyone ever have just one airpod discharge while in its case

Went to use my R airpod for a phone call. it made the Almost discharged sound as soon as i put it in my ear. Case was 100% charged L pod was 100% charged R was at 2%. I havent had this problem since but just seeing if it was user error.

iPhone X, iOS 11.1
