Hi
I am running MacBook Air with MacOS High Sierra 10.13.1 and i use a Mac VPN to connect to work regularly (Cisco at the other end). It times out at 42 minutes even if i am active on the connection. Never happens while i am active on my Surface.
Any suggestions from the forum as to how i might stop this from happening?

thats where this is going - Windows is fine, OS X (and/or UNIX) is not
there are a number of incidents on the Cisco forums and others. If you can narrow down your network specs you may find something specific with Mac (OS X or UNIX for that matter) systems logging off because there a few I've come across in a casual search.

I am along with a Net Admin at work. As i say i don't have a timeout issue connection from other hardware (non Mac)
