Question: Best CA for Yosemite or El Capitan?

It seems that whether you have an eCommerce site or not, the general move these days is to have your site verified by a certificate authority.

I have looked into this and the number of CA companies and what they offer is staggering. For example, one company might offer a wildcard for $250, but another company might charge $700. So this leads me to believe they are not all created equal.

I have also read that certificates are not all that easy to set up and get working, especially on Apple servers.

So is there a company that any of you can recommend whose certificates aren't a pain to set up and work well on Apple servers?

All the services work the same way and Keychain Access has a certificate assistant.

I use idenTrust, cin they are reasonably priced and they work.

I find that most people complain about Apple simply because it may be different then they expect.

Thanks for the response.

Not sure about complaining about Apple because they are different. Apple servers are usually differently set up than most typical servers, especially in the paths, depending on the version. That's why I wanted to find a CA that might work well with Apple servers.
