how to remove desktop.ini files from iTunes.

I have these files all over my iTunes list and don't know how to remove them. Does anybody know to to do this?

Would certainly appreciate any advice on this one. I don't want to ring Apple again. I seem to call them too often with problems.

Presumably this is a library that lived on Windows at some point. You should be able to search the iTunes Media folder for all files with the name desktop.ini, then select all of the results with cmd+A. Right-click on the selection and send to the trash.
