Very many of the "bugs" reported here are merely third-party system modifications gone haywire since they are not compatible with High Sierra.

You should upgrade for the security patches available with High Sierra.

You are reading about all the bugs because people without issues typically don't post about no bugs.

I and many others have upgraded without issue.
