My iphone 7 audio wont work on apps?

it works nromally on video but snapchat and instagram sound insanely muffled i can barely hear it at full volume. on top of that ive done a diagnostic report for my phone and mics all worked. im pretty sure my voice memos is muffled too. ive done two resets of my phone and even done a brand new factory new phone and still having the issues?
