Sure, blowing air should make sure to get that vapor into all the other parts of your iPhone and hasten your trip to your reseller to pay to get it repaired. And taking out the SIM tray will not help. If you can't wait that long take it in and get it replaced.

Sure, if you are trying to destroy your iPhone you should blow in it or use a fan if you are trying to get the water further into the phone. If you use a hair dryer is shouldn't take you more than 30 minutes to completely ruin it.
You can let it sit in a warm cupboard for 4 or 5 days and how it dries.
What about blowing air and taking out the sim tray. 4-5 days is really long.
