Preserve Pedal during "Split-At-Playhead"

In a passage where the sustain pedal is held down, I often find myself snapping out sections via split-at-playhead.

However, if the pedal was depressed prior to the cut, the newly isolated segment will suddenly exist without sustain

Is there a way these cuts will split controller 64 instead of eliminating it?
