Cannot make reservation for iPhone X.

I'm from Hong Kong. Tried on both devices at 8 am, there were actual stock. After choosing all characteristics and pressing continue I was redirected to main page. How is it possible?

If it is showing stock, why not go to the store and buy it? I do not know why the page was redirected.

All of available iPhones have been reserved by other users. So I left with nothing
