Question: Screen time locks for children

With the new iOS update 10 and 11 now there is no app to limit screen time for children as the alert notifications behavior changed to persistent but not blocking , how could I set a screen time limit for my children on iOS 11, I will not buy any new iPads except if I have a way around this

There are third party apps that you can get that will allow you to control the times that your children can be on their devices. One search is all I needed to do and I found a few apps that will do what it is it sounds like you are trying to do. Please note that this is a public forum that is placed here for users like yourself to help each other out in times of need with maybe trying things that could be tried to see if there is a way without having to go through customer service. If you choose not to buy anymore Apple products that is your choice, but this isn’t something that is going to effect us that are here to help you. If you are looking for certain features we can try and help you find them if they are available, but if they are not available, we cannot make changes to make them work for you. For those types of ideas and feedback, you would need to go to Apple’s feedback page and let them know how you feel and get your “voice” heard.
