Apple TV 4th Gen Box

Hi

I saw AppleTV 4th generation is presented by Black Box but today I faced whit something different.

Actually, I look for refurbished AppleTV on the net, I saw some advertisement that sells as brand new AppleTV 4th gen with white box and when I checked their warranty in https://checkcoverage.apple.com , I saw They have about one year repair and service coverage and also their telephone technical support are active.

How it's possible?I'm so confused.

A quick search showed that the white box was for the refurbished version. But you should go through one of those resellers instead of buying elsewhere

I would make sure you are looking at authorized sellers before purchasing any product.

I found that Apple TV 4th generation are available in differnet stores like Costco,Walmart,Staples and etc. in two different part number (MGY52C/A : Whitebox and MR912CL/A : Blackbox)

Again, I would advise against purchasing from anyone but authorized sellers (Apple and others do sell refurbished as well). There are many factors, so it would be at your own risk. Nothing more to say so do as you wish.

I found that all AppleTV 4th generation in different stores like Apple,Walmart,Costco,Staples are available in two different part number (MR912CL/A : WhiteBOX and MGY52C/A : Blackbox)

I don’t know what’s the difference but both presented by Apple.

Is there anybody who knows what's differnet?
