Question: Archive numbers do not change

Under Mailboxes, next to Archive a number (656) is shown.

I understand this number indicates Unread mails. When I click and read the mail, the number doesn't change.

Well, no problem as such butcurious.

Hello SWAVI,

I'm understanding there is a number next to the Archive folder in the Mail app.
You can store messages in an Archive mailbox —for example, to quickly find them later when you’re ready to take action.
Take a look at this article for Archive mailboxes: Use the Archive mailbox

Hope that article helps.
Have a great day!
