after updating to High Sierra I am getting a non-stop Java popup dialog box. How do I get rid of it?

My Mac offered an update to High Sierra but after it was updated I have

a pop up regarding Java SE 6 runtime. No matter what I do it keeps poppin up

every ten seconds. How do I get rid of this???
