time zone problems

I am based in Greece. When I enter an appointment in my Outlook calendar (GMT+2), it comes up in the iCal/Iphone as one hour earlier, but also mentions the correct time but as GMT+3(!!!!) - see below screen photo. The problem goes away in the summer on the back of the daylight time change. Interestingly, if you edit the ical appointment, the appointment is shown as starting at the right time but as GMT +3 and Istanbul Time Zone. All my time zone settings (iCal, Iphone and Outlook) are set to automatic and when you check the time zone they correctly show Athens as the current time zone. This is really perplexing.

Any suggestions please?
