Recording audio track not lining up when played back

Here’s a stumper. When I create Audio Track such as vocals or guitar I can Record in time with the click and be right on with almost zero latency. But upon playback the said recorded track is ahead of the click by quite a bit . I then Have to go back and line it up for mixing . Never happened in garage band.Any help would be appreciated. Good luck figuring this one out.

Sounds like you may have a recording delay issue going on.

Choose Preferences > Audio > Devices, and set the Recording Delay value to 0 samples if it isn't already.
