Unable to install updates on iPad mini

I have an iPad mini 128gb capacity running iOS 11.1

i have notifications of 9 app updates but am unable to download & install any.

They all fail indicating that the update was unable to download.

there is also an iOS update availabel to 11.1.1 that is also failing to install.

im also receiving repeated requests to re-enter my Apple ID password from the Settings interface but I cannot get to where I can re-enter that password.

is there a known bug or malware that is causing these software updates to fail?

can I restore my configuration back to a specific date before the problem appeared?

ive cleared the the system cache. This hasn’t resolved the issue.

This appears to be symptoms of malware but I’m unaware of an anti- malware app for the iPad.

Hi. Try Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Then connect to WiFi again.

Are you using any VPN or DNS service?

Make sure you're not using a Proxy in your WiFi settings for the network (tap the ℹ ).

Are you able to log in to your Apple ID at appleid.apple.com?

Are your date and time settings correct for your current location?

Are you still in the country where you purchased the apps?

Are you connected to the internet? Try apple.com in Safari.

You can revert your system to an earlier time, if you have a backup on your computer. But I don't believe it would help.

thank you for your replies. I discovered the source of my issue.

I had switched on an active data meter on my router. The limit had been reached and the router was trying to notify me in the browser window I’d had logged in from. The login window was popping up, persistently, but I didn’t recognize it being from the router. I could not proceed with any of the updates until I addressed the router notification. I’d never had this happen before and so this was a good learning experience for me.

Hi

Go to iTunes main page bottom of page apple I'd delete all I'd Then add back again.

Then try updates.

Are your payment details credit card details up to date?
