My car entertainment system doesn’t detect my phone. Did not happen with my previous iPhone 6, 7

This might be related to the fact that iPhones 8, 8+, X use a new 5.0 bluetooth chip, and your car system can't recognize them. You should talk to your car service and see if they can help.
