Question: Rules on Mail

I am using Mail on High Sierra, Google as provider. Under Mailboxes--> Inbox I have subfolders that I use to organise my mail. When I try to create a rule to move certain mail automatically to specific folders, I only see Inbox, not the subfolders under Inbox that I need.

Please help...

Don't make sub folders under the inbox. Make another separate folder containing sub folders.

Auto applied rules only work on the inbox. To apply rules to other folders you have to apply the rule manually.
