Multicam group clips camera angles

I have sync'd 4 camera angles and 4 mp3 audio recordings into 1 Multicam group clip. Now I am ready to start editing. I am following Lynda training and noticed that the different camera angles (they have 2) appear in the 'angle viewer' section of the screen. By contrast my clip doesn't show the different angles in that section of the screen - the angle viewer section is blank (even with the VIEW, SHOW ANGLES option active). Without the different angles visible it is difficult to edit. Why aren't my angles showing up?

Thanks

Ok thanks for your reply I feel I'm getting closer to understanding the process I need to use.

Here's my situation:

Band performance.... 3 cameras rolling the whole time + separate digital live audio recording (now in mp3 format). The audio is x4 mp3's (4 songs with dead time between songs not captured -hence 4 individual files, not one long one). I purchased Final Cut Pro X to do the job of syncing all the video to the separately recorded audio and finally editing. So my first project using the software is probably a challenging one.

Do I.....?

- create a Multicam first, edit then lastly sync the higher quality audio?

- or grab all the files (A+V) and Multicam those?

thanks
