I am currently on ios 11.1.1 and I am experiecing in wifi connectivity getting lost when i lock my iphone. Frustrating thing is I have to always keep the phone in unlocked state for wifi to work.
Does any one have a solution for it ?
I found posts regarding the same dated back to 2015, but for none, the problem is addressed.

It worked! I had kept my phone locked for about 2 hours and the WiFi connectivity was still there up n running.

Go to settings down to reset Reset network settings After reset enter your router wireless key.

My iPhone 5s has a similar issue. Except I will be using it and the WiFi will just randomly cut out. Will resetting the network settings fix that? Someone else told me to do that but I’m not sure.
