I am currently on ios 11.1.1 and I am experiecing in wifi connectivity getting lost when i lock my iphone. Frustrating thing is I have to always keep the phone in unlocked state for wifi to work.
Does any one have a solution for it ?
I found posts regarding the same dated back to 2015, but for none, the problem is addressed.

It worked! I had kept my phone locked for about 2 hours and the WiFi connectivity was still there up n running.

However, one question though, any idea why the problem occurred and also how did the reset network solved it ? Thanks in advance.

Go to settings down to reset Reset network settings After reset enter your router wireless key.

My iPhone 5s has a similar issue. Except I will be using it and the WiFi will just randomly cut out. Will resetting the network settings fix that? Someone else told me to do that but I’m not sure.
WiFi connectivity lost when iPhone 6s Plus is locked.
