How to get or manually set the date & time without Internet connection for 802.1X authentication (AppleTV 4th Gen) ?

Make sure port 123 is open on router (refer to manual if unsure)

You would need an internet connection to do a full setup of ATV, and without an internet connection you would lose access to most features (only having access to home sharing, but without access to iTunes purchases)

Hi AndySir. As far as I know, you cannot set the time manually in Apple TV. Since it's an internet media player, it's designed to operate transparently with an internet connection. You could try setting the device up on an open network (home?), then connect it to your secured network and hope the time is preserved.
